How to ACTIVATE a Fraser Valley/Chilliwack
Realty Watch Fan-out:

• Call: 1.877.5FANOUT (1.877.532.6688). From 8 am to 4:30 pm Monday to Friday, you will reach the Board’s main switchboard which will transfer you to the Realty Watch coordinator. After business hours, leave a message and it will answered the next business day.
• The coordinator will contact you to receive the fan-out description. Either email or fax the coordinator a press release with the details OR fill out a police/RCMP approved Realty Watch information sheet called a Be-On-the-Lookout-For (BOLF) form.
• The RCMP has its own BOLF form. It's listed in the RCMP National ICS forms index located on the RCMP infoweb and is form #ED651-1. Type in the fan-out description in the appropriate boxes and save the form under a new file name.
• For police departments, click here to open a police-approved B.O.L.F. form. Type in the fan-out description in the appropriate boxes and save the PDF form under a new file name.
• Email or fax the description to fanout@realtywatch.net OR fax it to 604.930.7623 Monday to Friday from 8 am to 4:30 pm.
• Unless otherwise notified by the originating police department, Realty Watch will cancel the fan-out after 72 hours.

• In emergency situations, REALTORS® respond to a police/RCMP-activated page, or fan-out, to search for missing or abducted people, suspicious vehicles, or people with medical conditions who may be in danger.
